If you arrive before check-in time you are welcome to take full advantage of our programs and facilities. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals, as well as those who may be departing an hour or two after check-out time.

Yes, one night rate has to be paid at the time of reservation. Your remaining balance is due at arrival.   We accept secure payments from all major credit* and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), bank transfer, direct deposit and cash.

*2.5% extra fee applies when paying by credit card

Minimum 10 days’ notice: deposit held on account for one year towards a future visit.

Day of arrival: Full amount of deposit forfeited.

There are no penalties or adjustments extended to those who arrive late or depart early.

You are welcome to change your dates with more than 10 days’ notice with no penalty.

A date change made within 10 days of the arrival date is subject to the cancellation fees mentioned above.

YES! We are located in Valle de Guadalupe, near Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico about 40 miles southwest of San Diego. A valid passport and tourist visa is mandatory for travel to Mexico from the US.

Montevalle all-inclusive wellness packages include three healthy meals per day of your stay. Guest with no all-inclusive packages will need to pay for their meals separately.

You can discuss food allergies and dietary restrictions during your courtesy call with the Montevalle Guest Specialist so we can properly prepare for you.

We operate with the highest standards of service. Housekeeping staff will ensure your room is deeply cleaned before arrival. Daily freshening, linen changes, and a turndown service are included in your stay.

We only provide alkaline and filtered drinking water. We make all teas, coffees, beverages and ice with filtered water. All rooms have faucets that dispense filtered water, but it is not recommended to drink.

Montevalle Spa & Wellness Resort maintains a smoke-free environment, indoors and out, throughout the property.

We welcome cash, checks and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express) Any expense can be simply added to your final bill.

Tipping is optional; however, many guests do choose to tip in cash for some services they consider more than satisfying. (See “Tips on Tipping” below)

If you’d like to go out of the property and visit the Valle de Guadalupe’s other restaurants, stores and facilities, you might need some cash as some vendors don’t accept any other form of payment.

Our staff makes every effort to see that your stay is a total delight.

If you feel someone has gone above and beyond during your stay, you are welcome to show your gratitude.

Although service charges are not included in your bill, they are greatly appreciated by each recipient.

Tips cannot be added to your bill.

Each Villa has a telephone, smart TV, WiFi, air conditioning and heater, roof fan, outdoor deck, desk, coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, safety box

use your cell phones inside your individual villas preferably as other guests might want to enjoy the quietude of their outdoor decks or while they are relaxing or meditating.

Note: Not all cellular phones have service at the Valle de Guadalupe, depending on your carrier. Before your trip, be sure to ask your carrier if service is available while you are in Ensenada Baja California, and get an idea of what your roaming fees will be.

Guests are welcome to bring their own laptop, tablets or other computing device. Complimentary wireless service is available throughout the resort. You also have the option to turn on WiFi in your villa.

Mexico is a wonderful, convivial country that warmly welcomes over 38 million tourists each year. Montevalle Spa & Wellness Resort is across the USA-Mexico border in Valle de Guadalupe, near Ensenada Baja California. While there has been negative media coverage about Mexico, we can assure you that you’ll enjoy your stay at our facilities in complete safety.

We have an on-site team of safety personnel and security cameras monitoring the premises and surrounding areas at all times to ensure only guests and authorized visitors enter the property.

Valle de Guadalupe is known for its Mediterranean climate year-round. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 39°F to 87°F and is rarely below 32°F or above 92°F.

On average there are about 40 to 50 rainy days, the rest of the year you will enjoy warm sun, fresh breezes and cozy nights.
